Collection: First Early Seed Potatoes
Seed potatoes are grouped by their maturity time, although growing conditions and weather can influence how quickly they develop. First early varieties are the quickest to mature, ready to harvest in around 70–84 days. They are ideal for gardeners wanting an early crop and are perfect for smaller growing spaces. Compared with maincrop potatoes, first earlies generally produce smaller tubers and a lower yield, but their shorter growing period means they can often avoid some common issues, such as blight.
